Who can use this site

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent/guardian's permission, to submit content or make a purchase. The site itself is not directed at children under 13.

Submissions

By submitting an excerpt, hook, image, or other content ("Submission"), you confirm:

• You own the rights to the content, or have permission to share it, as described in our Content Guidelines

• Your Submission is accurate and not misleading

• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share your Submission on the site and our associated social media accounts, for as long as it remains published

We reserve the right to decline, edit for formatting, or remove any Submission at our discretion, including after publication, particularly if it violates our Content Guidelines.

You retain ownership of your original work. We are not claiming ownership of your book, your writing, or your Submission — only a license to display it as described above.

Paid services (Spotlights, future tiers)

• Payment is for production and placement of your Submission, not a guarantee of specific results, sales, views, or engagement.

• Refunds are issued only as described in our Content Guidelines (e.g., if prohibited content is found after payment).

• We don't offer revisions on paid tiers; please review your Submission carefully before submitting.

• Prices are subject to change; the price in effect at the time of your submission applies to that submission.

Affiliate links

This site may include affiliate links (e.g., Amazon Associates, Kobo). We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you. This does not affect which Submissions are approved or featured.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information

• Submit content that infringes someone else's rights

• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the site or its underlying systems

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.

Third-party services

This site relies on third-party platforms (including Tally, Airtable, Shareables, and Stripe) to operate. We aren't responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by these third parties beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers
